I just tuned in, Mike. Nice rant. Slightly wrong-headed, but passionate. Bush was a dickhead, but he wasn’t the only one.

Caroline Kennedy is an attorney, author and previously worled at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I think the combination of a legal background & an arts background is a new combination.
I don’t think a person necessarily needs prior elected office experience prior to the Senate. Paul Simon, Dem-Illinois, back in the 1980s was a journalist before joining the Senate. Paul Wellstone ,D-Wisc in the 1990s,was a college professor beforehand. They both did well with no prior elective positions.

You could grab anyone off the street and make them a Senator just look at the 100 we have now. As we use to say on ratings reports “NOTHING OUTSTANDING”
