Now this bitch is crazy! October 18, 2008

I only know about her because I’ve been a frequent visitor to the blog Dump Michele Bachman for some time now. She’s an uber-conservative Republican Congresswoman who obviously needs to find something better to do.

Anyone else annoyed by Rachel Maddow? It’s like MSNBC tried to create a John Stewart clone, right down to the hair, but wound up with an unfunny butch lesbian instead.

3. Dominique - October 18, 2008

MSNBC used to be my go-to channel after work. Over the past year or so, they’ve been completely unwatchable from 7:00 on unless you’re a total wingnut or you have some morbid fascination with child predators and life in prison. It’s plain awful. The only redeeming programming they offer is Morning Joe which is actually quite fair and balanced, if you will.

4. Hube - October 18, 2008

Dom: That would be “moonbat.” Right-wingers are “wingnuts.” ;-)

5. Truth Teller - October 19, 2008

We all know that Rachel is a tongue and groove expert.
however this congress woman is another Dip Shit just like Sarah. Do the REPUK’s breed these assholes on purpose??

6. Hube - October 19, 2008

“Dipshit” is one word, Mr. Fossil. And how do you pronounce that “repuk?” “Re-puck?” What’s that supposed to mean?

7. Dominque - October 19, 2008

TT – tongue and groove expert? That’s gross. Inappropriate and funny, but gross.

Hube – Not to disparage moonbats, but why can’t there be left-wingnuts? Also, I think it’s pronounced Re-Puke (as in vomit). TT should probably put a ‘e’ at the end of it to avoid confusion.

Someone has defined Repuke!

Eenteresting!

9. Hube - October 19, 2008

Dom: I know. I was just fuckin’ w/’im. ;-)

10. JohnnyX - October 19, 2008

I am totally going to use the expression “tongue and groove expert” in the future. Many thanks, TT!

Totally unrelated to this thread – but wanted to answer a question Dom asked on DL (and figured she’d find it here easier).

Sorry to bump this thread, but wanted to answer Dom’s question (why I bothered with a minor in German language and literature while in college):

Yes, I have a German last name and can trace ancestry on both of my parents’ sides back to Germany first and then I believe Switzerland before that.

In high school I took German all four years (including AP during my senior year) so when I got to college I had basically already exhausted the minimum foreign language requirement. I enjoyed it though, and a minor didn’t really require much beyond the courses I got credited for due to AP German so I figured what the hell and went for it. It also was a nice change of pace from my major (Biology) – this way it wasn’t all science all the time. I briefly considered actually doing a double major but I wasn’t sure that having an extra degree in German would necessarily be all that beneficial. In retrospect I probably should have done it just because I could have.

Thanks, Johnny. I was intrigued by it because I’ve never encountered anyone who minored in German – especially German literature.

Thanks for the link to the UD definition of it, Mike. My favorite was ‘when you puke, then puke again, then vote for it.’

I used to love to peruse UD; some of the definitions are hysterical. Here’s a classic:

For real fun on UD, look up “Santorum”. Ouch!

Nice try “Truth Teller” dipshit, she is married with 5 kids.

Michele Bachman ( and all other neo-fashists) let this be a lesson to you. You just can not get away with it anymore. This is the “computer age”
As a result of her remarks on the Chris Mathews show, her opponent El Tinklenberg , within 24 hours had money coming in at a rapid pace.

Just remember always “Man soll nie zwei languages zusammenputten.”

ahh, Bookem, I don’t mean to speak for “Truth Teller”, but Rachel Maddow is very much a Lesbian, at least i’d imagine she’d say so if asked about her partner, Susan Mikula.

It is very interesting to see how Michele Bachmann became an overnight sensation (on a friday mind you, when most news gets lost over the weekend; i.e. Edwards love child) and even to the point that because of this comment (or so the news has lead me to believe) that Bachmann’s DFL challenger Elwyn Tinklenberg now reports that he has raised more than $800 thousand since Friday!

I have a feeling that it’s a very bad time to be Michele Bachmann right about now and that the DFL is on the verge of picking up a seat.
